Bitvocation is an unfunded passion project, dedicated to providing valuable resources and insights for individuals interested in pursuing careers in Bitcoin. With a focus on education and accessibility, we aim to empower our audience with the knowledge and tools they need to find their first job in the industry.

Bitvocation aims to become the number #1 career resource platform in Bitcoin and we are looking for talented professionals to support us with their contributions.

From personal stories to resource articles for job seekers, employees, as well as businesses all around the topic of "working in Bitcoin". The new Bitvocation site aims to become a resource for both Bitcoin businesses as well as individuals looking to start a career in Bitcoin and earning bitcoin.

Here's a small example of many possible topics:

• Getting paid in bitcoin and how to handle your personal finances on the Bitcoin Standard
• How to use Nostr for networking and finding work in Bitcoin
• Freelance or employment?
• How to handle the volatile job market as a business as well as employee
• Doing payroll in bitcoin and all the considerations that come with it as well as all the tools etc.
• The case for bitcoin and employee benefits
• How to accept bitcoin in your online or brick & mortar business - the pro's and con's of the available tools
• An overview of Bitcoin grant providers

Articles should be practical and actionable and written in easy language with a high readability score, so they can be understood by non-native English speakers around the world.

As a reminder, Bitvocation is completely run by volunteers at the moment and generates no income. Guest articles will therefore also be voluntary contributions. However we're planning to integrate LN tipping buttons, so that contributing authors can be tipped by readers in a value4value kind of way.

We are aiming to have a self-organised group of writers, who will manage (and add to) the Bitvocation content plan. Everyone can pick and choose and "claim" an article they want to write. Once a draft is submitted, either a dedicated editor or several other writers will review and approve it or give feedback for improvement. Once the article has reached a certain number of approvals, it then gets published on the website.

Ideally every writer would also review some of the drafts of others, so that there is a sense of community, and people help each other produce quality content. But we are also open to have a dedicated editor, if anyone wants to take on that role.

The writers group will most likely live on Telegram. If this sounds good to you, include your Telegram handle in the application form, and I'd be happy to invite you to the group once we launch it. It will be a secret group, in order to avoid spam.

You do not need to be a professional writer, and you can of course use AI to create your articles. As long as you can produce truthful, valuable, engaging content with a high readability score.
